Our policy at First Light is leave the place better than how we found it. And this applies to your home or business as well as the planet we live on. We are grateful to live in such an amazing country, so we do our bit towards keeping New Zealand beautiful. That includes avoiding unnecessary waste, correct disposal of harmful materials and recommending energy efficient options.

Our electricians are up to date with current Health and Safety practices and we work hard to ensure that sites we work on are safe. We have excellent systems in place and are always looking to improve on these. We find that the best way for this to happen is through the sharing of stories and the learnings that followed.

I have been a New Zealand registered electrician for over 28 years and over this time have gained a wide variety of experience and expertise working in homes, businesses and commercial properties.

I bring this experience to each project to provide quality workmanship, informative designs that benefit both cost savings where possible and good future planning to avoid disappointment or added cost.

I love new technology and finding simple ways to make life fun, convenient and ergonomic. Such as pathway lighting that leads you to the kitchen when your hands are full, or low-level LED in bathrooms. These seem essential to me.

I enjoy watching a good movie, sightseeing, most sports, 80’s music and rock concerts, I have also been known to play cricket and enjoy a good game of table tennis.

Most of all I’m grateful for my amazing family and have been married for 21 years and have two boys. We love to make memories that “last a life-time” and I know how privileged we are to live in such a remarkable country.
